In my signature stroke I created a loose portrait of a parent and child — or strangers of other generations, however you read it — holding each other, becoming one in a moment of unity and compassion.

Risa Brooke Oze is a visual artist whose work explores universal themes that endure throughout time, viewed through the lens of the feminine experience and movement.
Working in acrylic, pastel and charcoal, her mixed-media paintings have been exhibited in New York, Tel Aviv and Jaffa, and are held in private collections worldwide.
